LoveveryFriends of All Shapes Puzzle | Montessori Toddler Toy, Ages 16 Months+

This is a super cute way to teach shapes an colors to littles and its very sturdy. My toddler loves to do the puzzle and name the shapes and colors with every new person than comes to our house.

We got these for our daughter when she was about 7 months and she loved seeing the kids faces, and of course chewing on them. haha She is now almost a year and this remains a favorite. I'm looking forward to when she starts trying to fit the little pieces into the puzzle!

Like most Lovevery products, this is an heirloom-quality wooden piece. It is large (larger than I expected), so consider whether it would fit on your Montessori shelf. At almost 20" wide, ours had to live on the window sill instead of the usual Ikea Kallax shelf we use. The puzzle has some nice elements that can extend its usefulness, such as the ability to stack the pieces into a wobbly tower (due to the flat knobs), being able to use the pieces as insets for tracing (a classic Montessori activity), and more. We also like augmenting the puzzle with custom photos (print a large image, trace the shape on top, cut a little smaller than the trace, and attach it inside the puzzle with temporary double-sided tape). This isn't much more expensive than the knock-off pieces you might find for cheaper, but the quality and resale value are substantially better, so I recommend this even if you're on a budget.

This puzzle is great. The quality is very high and I love that it has real pictures of kids on it because that holds my baby's attention best. I would say in general LoveEvery brand is really nice, but expensive, and this puzzle is no exception. It's really nice, but a little overpriced.

I am a big fan of Lovevery so I was excited to see individual products being sold outside of having to have their subscription program. They put a lot of research and care into their product line and it shows in high quality products that babies actually enjoy interacting with. This puzzle is geared toward 16 months which I think makes it a great first birthday gift, giving the baby something to grow into. They’ll play with it many different ways as they develop. The pieces are really large and I think little ones enjoy being able to maneuver the large pieces. I like that there are pictures of real children under the shapes. At this age babies can recognize those better than cartoon characters or animals and they seem to enjoy that surprise. The puzzle is quite large compared to similar models which also makes it more giftable.

I bought this as a gift for a friend's baby, and it's almost everything I hoped for. It's high-quality and educational, with bright colors to entice a toddler. My own kids played with this type of toy and it's the kind of classic you just can't beat. However, I had thought the parents could put their own photos in the shapes for baby to discover, and it doesn't seem that's the case.

Love this puzzle! Seeing the kids underneath the shapes always makes our toddler smile. We love Lovevery products, and this one was up to the high standard we always receive from them!

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of this toy. Right out of the box, it posed a serious health hazard. I found splinters in the playard next to my toddler's mouth, which is unacceptable for a product intended for children. This toy is dangerous and poorly made. I strongly advise against purchasing it due to the grave safety risks it presents.
