Clearspring Organic Matcha Genmaicha is a harmonious blend of Japanese Green tea, rich and exquisite premium Matcha and delicately roasted Brown rice. It delivers a deep and unique nutty taste, some even say a ‘popcorn-like’ flavour, as all three ingredients converge to create a rewarding and delicious Japanese tea experience. Specially created by our Japanese expert tea producers, it delivers the perfect balance of flavours being both uplifting and soothing. With a slightly grassy aroma and deep rich taste at Clearspring we harvest the tender first of the season leaves, which are known to be the best due to their brighter colour and gentler, slightly sweeter flavour. Matcha is finely Ground green tea leaf powder and is the most prized amongst Japanese teas. It has been drunk as part of the tea ceremony for 900 years as well as by Buddhist monks during long days of meditation. Our selection of Organic Green Teas offers authenticity in taste and premium organic quality due to special preparation by 3rd generation producers in Kyoto, Japan. From vibrant and captivating Matcha to bittersweet Sencha to mild and earthy Kukicha. There is a flavour to suit every taste and time of day as the caffeine content varies considerably, with Matcha having the highest and Kukicha the lowest. All our products have a distinctive flavour. We never use any artificial additives or add refined sugars.
