Easy to use
Punches through 10 standard sheets of paper, creating 10 perfect holes for spiral binding. It's easy to use and allows for adding more holes in a line. The tool handles punching easily and feels well-made.

Decent hole punch for projects
If you’re confused by the listing, you’re not alone—I was too. The page includes multiple sizes under different color options, so it’s important to choose based on the number of holes, not the color. If you’re looking for the 10-hole punch for a mini or pocket planner (like a Mini Happy Planner), that’s the blue option. The blue version is not the 26-hole (B5) or 30-hole (A4) model, even though they’re shown in the same listing. Setup was honestly the most frustrating part. It arrived with no instructions and ships with a locking mechanism engaged. There’s a small plastic piece clipped over the spring button that has to be removed before it will function. If you don’t realize that, the punch feels completely jammed. It took a bit of trial and error (and an extra set of eyes) to figure it out. I’m still not entirely sure whether that plastic piece is meant to be reattached for storage, since without it the punch doesn’t lock closed again. Once set up, though, it works well. I was able to punch clean holes by inserting about six sheets at a time with no tearing or hanging paper bits. Paper thickness will likely determine how many sheets you can punch at once. The metal construction feels sturdy, which is nice since many punchers are plastic these days, and the soft robin’s egg blue color is a nice touch. Overall, it’s a solid hole punch that performs well once you get past the confusing listing and initial setup. The price feels a little high, but if it holds up over time, the quality would justify it.

Packs a Punch
Hefty little hole puncher. It has a nice feel and weight to it. Perfect for small crafts and small jobs. Clean holes and perfectly aligned every time. This tool is easy to use for adults and children alike. Wouldn't recommend stuffing a lot of papers in at once, but a couple is the right amount.

Solid puncher once you figure out the confusing locking mechanism
I paid $26.99 for this, and while it works once you figure it out, the initial setup is frustrating. It arrived with no instructions, and there's a locking mechanism that ships pre-engaged. There's a tiny plastic piece (looks like a double-sided wrench) wedged over the spring button, and if you don't realize you need to remove it, the puncher feels permanently jammed. I needed a second set of eyes from my partner to figure out what was going on, and they were just as confused as I was. The only reason I even knew to look for it was because one of the stock photos doesn't show that piece in place. And now I don't know if I need that piece to re-lock it for storage, because without it, the puncher won't close again lol Once I got it working, the punching mechanism itself is solid. It's heavy-duty metal, and it punched through 10 sheets cleanly without tearing or leaving burrs. However, there was a lot of oil on the punches out of the box, which left residue around the edges of the punch-outs during my first initial tests. It's not enough to saturate the page, and it does go away with use (for me it was after about twelve individual punches), but I wouldn't test this on delicate paper right away. The bottom piece is thin black plastic that you pull off to empty the hole confetti. It's easy to clean, and it doubles as a ruler for measuring A4, A5, and B5 paper sizes. The problem is the size markings are just slightly raised embossed letters with no paint, and because it's matte black, they're hard to see depending on the lighting. I'm also not sure what the raised circles on the plastic are for (might just be from the molding process…?). The puncher has no feet on the bottom, so it slides around on your desk if you're not holding it steady. Mine also arrived with a small scuff on the metal paint. It's not huge, but it's noticeable when the light hits it a certain way, which makes me wonder if this was a return from someone who couldn't figure out the locking mechanism. I bought this to punch holes for a 6-ring binder with a non-standard alignment (similar to Filofax but with off-width spacing between rings). Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get the paper to line up properly, but that's an issue with my binder, not the puncher itself. The punch heads are fixed (meaning you can't rotate, move, or remove them), so if you need custom spacing, this won't work for that. The blue color is nice; it’s a soft robin’s egg blue, and the metal housing is a plus since it's hard to find punchers with metal construction these days. That said, I don't think it's worth $26.99. If it goes on sale, it might be a better value, but the lack of instructions, confusing locking mechanism, and lack of feet are issues for me that I feel could've been avoided with better packaging and more attention to design and functionality.

High quality 10 hole punch
If you find the listing confusing, hi, I'm completely with you. I ordered the blue 10 hole punch which I think works for the mini happy planner. A previous employer and my alma mater both gave out small binders that use 4" size sheets, but it isn't a standard refill size. They're cute little binders that I would keep in my purse, but once the paper was out, I couldn't use them anymore without paper. I ordered this with the hope that the hole spacing would match these two binders, because it seems non traditional (I am a bullet journal aficianado, using A5 and personal size traveler's notebooks.) For me, this was perfect - it matches the rings in both binders and I can now take plain paper and cut it to the size I need. For example, an 8.5" by 11" sheet cut into 4. Yes, it was kind of pricey to get for just those two binders, but if you have notebooks this size, you also experience the frustration that no one carries this size in your local megamart or office supply store and you're left buying it online. That said, for the price, you're getting a very high quality punch that is heavy and extremely robust. It is a comparable price to the best on the market and to my eye and initial uses of this tool, it will last just as long. The listing is for different sizes, so if you're looking for the mini or pocket size 10 hole punch, you want the BLUE hole puncher listed. The blue one does NOT punch 26 holes and is not B5, nor is it 30 hole for A4. For this listing, choose the number of holes you want, not the color of the product! For testing purposes, I was able to punch 15 sheets of paper easily.
