This item is a decent furniture piece, but I was expecting a desk, so I was disappointed to discover I purchased the top of a desk? Obviously I should have read the description better, but who sells furniture by the piece?

Gorgeous, Solid, Perfect option for a DeskTop/ Counter Top. I love this desktop. It is beautiful & arrived in perfect condition. I read the description and knew to expect a desktop (it's not fair to deduct stars if you don't read the description?). Many companies sell furniture components and pieces to accommodate everyone's needs.I love mine & was surprised how solid and thick it is. I have it on legs and have had no trouble with it bowing or bending. I even put a small hutch on it and works perfectly (I bought this desktop for my Bush hutch https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MQ3OLUW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1)I was hesitant to purchase the antique white because I was looking to match white. Thankfully it is not as noticeable as you would think (and I'm usually the type to be bothered by something like that). I have a desk mat and a few other things on it, plus it is a top and shaded while looking from afar, so it looks natural.I am very pleased with my purchase and would definitely purchase again if I needed one.

Arrived in pretty good shape and is a nice surface for my desk. Love it.

The desktop looks good and has felted bottom. Unfortunately, it's not straight. The surface is curved such that if you attach legs to it (instead of just laying it on top of the file cabinets, you can see the desktop bowing on the sides, significantly. If you lay it on the floor with the bottom up, you'll see the sides curved up. It's very disappointing and completely messed up my plan. It never occurred to me this would have been something to watch out for. I took it as a given that the surface would be flat, with no warping or bowing.I would have given it a 5 if it came straight, as expected. The color is nice, the finish is pretty but, my goodness, a warped desktop renders it useless for my purposes.
