If my cat likes it...it's a great product.

My cats love these and they're all picky eaters! One cat likes them softened eith water and the other two like them dry, so I love that they made them into smaller nuggets. I switched to these bc my one cat was having very bad UTIs and nothing was helping and I didnt want to give her the prescription medicine filled with chemicals. She made the switch slowly and has not had any issues since (about 5 months). The salmon and cod is low in ash and perfect for UTI prevention.

I own 3 cats and they enjoy freeze dried foods very much. I wanted to try this brand since it was on sale.When I opened the bag, I knew I made a mistake. The smell was like mold. I am aware that the freeze dried foods usually smells pretty intense and no human will enjoy that. Yes, I know it well. But this one ... smelled like an old bathroom pipe full of scum. My cats usually come to watch me opening the Amazon box whatever I order. They sure came this time again and watched my every move as I reached the freeze dried bag, and I could feel their expectation that something yummy will be put out on their dishes soon. I told them "hold on, hold on..." but once the bag was open and that offensive smell was in the air they quickly ran away and never came back. Not only the bad smell the food was squeezable too. Strange! Our usual freeze dried snacks were pretty crunchy and airly cookie type., like baked meringue. I dropped it in the water, but after a good 30 min there no sign of expanding and the piece just absorbed the water but again squeezable. I was confused. it should not be right! Or should it be??I got myself online and checked if the order allowed the "Free return," but there was no sign.Disappointed to know that I could not return, I decided to at least put some out and bring to my cats myself.None of my cats appreciated my personal delivery, and one of them actually went straight into the closet where he usually hides to calm himself down when something upsets him. I gave up to please my cats.I decided to feed the outside cats who visit my yard all the time. They always jumped onto any food I put out for them, but they did not even show any interest. I took it to work and offered to my co-worker whose cats might be interested. Sadly the bag came back to me. What's wrong? All these great reviews!! Am I crazy not to love it?I never bought this company's food at all, so I am seriously wondering if my batch has gone bad or this is their "normal" quality. I only picked 4 pieces out and never touched ever since. I wonder if the company wants to examine the quality of mine? I will send it back immediately and I don't need money back. I just wanna forget about it.

Make no mistake. My cats are very interested in this product but the serving size says 1 cup brand new the photograph shows how much is in the bag it’s about 2 cups so there’s about two dinners in this bag for my 10 lb cat I thought the price was high for a meal it’s like taking your cat to an expensive restaurant however, if used as a snack, it would make a great training treats. My cats do not like visitors so I have a sign this treat to be only when someone comes in wants to pet them to break the ice and for that it’ll work perfect so at the end of the day it was an awesome product just very expensive and a small amount.

Stella and chewy has started making the freeze dried in a smaller size kibble which is easy to break up for my 14 yo, toothless cat with poultry allergies. Both my cats love it and their fur is soft and shiny.

My cats, all 3 just simply DID NOT like this. I couldn't tempt them with it as a dry treat, or rehydrated. Very disappointed.

vet recommended brand. I've fed this for as long as it has been on the market. All my kids have loved it--different protein source available so it works for my allergy kiddos. Just be careful because some of the brand mixes with chicken which is something that cats are often allergic to.

I ordered this salmon cod freeze dried morsels for my cat on 23 rd of March. Got it on 20 th if April. It was well worth the waiting. I believe it was freshly made , smells very good like fresh fish. They not rock hard like older ones I had before. My cats absolutely love it. Will reorder again for sure..Recommend it if your cats loves fish . Thank you

I use this as an additional topping along with home made cat food. The scent is strong and created hunger drive in my cats to eat. Be sure to add watter to it since its dry. Only complain is the peices break when delivered as they are very fragile.

Not as good as advertised. And too expensive for a very poor quality and quantity.My cats dont like it at all.

Very nice food, definitely would buy again. Only issue was the size of the pieces, I had to chop them up so my cat could fit them in her mouth.My cat has breathing issues, so maybe other cats wouldn’t have the same problem?Overall, great food.

The freeze-dried morsels have been amazing for my 2 year old rescue cat w/ pancreatitis and IBD - never gets flare-ups or issues with any flavour of this product. So, I decided to try out the Salmon & Cod flavour, as she'd tried the Turkey, Chicken, Duck and Pork before and she loves variety.Imagine my surprise when I opened the package to find over half of the kibble was completely reduced to crumbs - I had to take pictures (see above) right away to compare it w/ the normal pieces from the other flavours. The "solid" pieces immediately crumbled upon me trying to pick them up - leaving me with effectively a bag full of dust (3rd pic).I was so disappointed and my cat found it hard to eat and left a mess - so I just threw out the bag. Over 40 dollars down the drain as I bought the biggest size as well, trusting it'd be just as good as the other flavours. I would have returned this but they don't allow returns, so beware anyone else who gets a bad batch.I'm really disappointed and have started buying from other brands as I've read the other reviews and it seems bad batches are a real risk for some of the other flavours too, I just got lucky. Since I'm a university student w/ not a lot of money to spare - I don't want to take the chance. Since my pet has special dietary needs (low carb, high protein, prefers dry food) it was nice to find a food that finally worked, but I'm unfortunately going to have to search for a new solution.
