My screen was over 30 years old, rusty and tangled. In 5 minutes ( after I figured out I needed to remove 1 sheet metal screw to free the rod), I replaced the old one and have a new, black, smooth operating screen. If I'd known it was this easy, I would have done this years ago. Great product!

I liked the replacement screen.The old screen was 1964 whenhouse was built. The frame waseasy to remove. And the screen fitperfect after removing the oldone and replacing with new one.It took a total of 1/2 hrs. to finish.Highly recommended product.

This screen is well made, easy to install and a perfect fit for our 36" heatilator fire place. I wasted so much time and effort trying to repair our old one. In hind sight I should have done this a long time ago. Would highly recommend!

This product exceeded my expectations. I was also pleased that the measuring guide was accurate. I measured 19" for my Marco fireplace curtains, and this product fit perfectly. I also took sandpaper to the metal rods while I had it off... They glide so we'll!

The size was perfect. On my fireplace box the installation was simple, be sure to measure before you order.

It took a while to figure out how to get this installed. Knowing that removing a screw or two could simplify this was very helpful!(previous review). Once I figure that out, it didn’t take long at all. Hubby was happy not to have to deal with it.

Easy install, fit is perfect, changed the look of the fireplace completely😀 out with the old raggedy ones and in with the new curtains looking great so pleased can’t recommend them enough.

It did the job spot on no more burnt carpet

Weight and gauge is the right size and dimensions were spot on. No kinks and hangs beautifully straight. Tassles are a bit smaller (about 80%) of older ones I have but they work fine and pull well.Stopped a large pop (about a 3-inch piece) from a log without any issues.Tassles also do not get hot to the touch at all. If they are, the fire being built is likely too large for the fireplace - same goes for warping/unravelling screens.As a buying tip, these screens need (and should!) overlap in the middle when closed. This means for a 48 inch opening a 54 inch screen coverage is needed minimum. Personally, my 38 inch opening fireplace required a 48 inch screen. Make sure to consider the allowances!Also consider if a fireplace does not have rods already to hang a screen it's likely meant to have a floor screen. I would recommend getting the type of screen the fireplace was built to have.

These screens are nicely constructed and decently priced. They are very easy to trim to the required width. What a relief finally to have something to catch those flying embers.

Pour rideau de foyer. Tout est parfait . Peut-être un seul petit bémol: les mailles sont légèrement trop grosses laissant passer à l’occasion des étincelles.Mais dans l’ensemble très satisfait . Entre autres, les anneaux du rideau glissent merveilleusement bien sûr la barre d’attache.
