Blackstar PSU1FLY Power Supply

Power cable arrived quickly and exactly as described. It works perfectly with my Blackstar Fly 3 (US). I can gladly say that I won't be wasting any more batteries while I use this at home. I honestly would have paid $20 more for my amp if this had come with it instead of batteries. I could have purchased the bundle that included an extra cabinet speaker and this power cord but I have no need for the extra speaker.

Not much to review about a power supply, but it works fine and the length seems right. Looks just like a laptop charger. Nice for peace of mind jamming w/o worrying about the batteries dying (although I'm still on my first set of stock batteries, very surprised how power-friendly this amp is), and perfect if you use the two speakers (amp + extension cab) as computer speakers.

Great little Amp! I love it. So small for such a big sound with 3w (6w with additional cabinet). I bought the amp, then went back and purchased the additional cabinet and power supply, as I was so pleased with the amp. Not much in the way of EFX, but that's not why I wanted it to begin with. It's pretty clean sounding, and rivals larger amps easily.

I wish it got louder. It's still a good item and the problem may be that I need to be willing to spend more money for a louder amp. In the end a good product. Merry Christmas to me.

Works great! It has a really good range, and I love how I can connect my phone and practice along with songs. It's volume could be louder, but considering it's a mini amp, I can't really complain! The store that I bought it from, Chicago Music Exchange, did an EXCELENT job in getting it here safe and fast!

Based on the photos on Amazon I thought I was ordering a regulated power supply for my FLY amplifier. Instead what I got was cheap 6V wall wart that I could buy in any electronics store for maybe $5. Because there's no regulation there's a very noticeable hum. The power connector is quite standard, so don't waste your money on this thing. If you don't mind a bit of hum you can buy these things anywhere for practically nothing. If you want a decent power supply then spend a bit more for a regulated, shielded, and quality 6V power supply. Update: They gave me a $17 rebate on the return for "restocking" charges. Don't waste your money on this.

I gave it a below average rating because it's pricey and only 6.5 volts. The FLY takes 6AA batteries, which equals 9v - Iike, one could use a guitar pedal supply as a competitor does. Unless you just want a way to make a few, well, a lot of extra bucks in this case. It does work, though. I got it because off-brand power supplies have a good chance of being noisy.

I have to thank reviewers who pointed out that the power supply which Amazon recommended was not matched to the Blackstar amp. I purchased this one, which I found on Amazon separately, and it works just fine.
